terminally ill persons and those who love and care for them."
What Services are available?
Hospice's interdisciplinary team provides a comprehensive plan, suited to each patient's needs. These services include:
- On-call R.N. available 24 hours for assessment/intervention, problem solving.
- Management of pain and other symptoms
- Education of family members in care of patient
- Home health aides
- Respite for primary caregiver by trained volunteers
- Dietary consultation
- Short term in-patient care
- Prescribed medications
- Medical equipment and supplies
- Therapists as needed
- Referral services
- Emotional and spiritual support
- Bereavement services for the family
